The artist's one-man exhibition in Potenza was entitled "The Art of Ernesto Ornati" and was held from October 2003 to February 2004 at the Museo Archeologico Provinciale of Potenza, Italy, under the auspices of the Cultural Center Polo della Cultura of the Province of Potenza. The show, curated by art critic Laura Gavioli, offered a complete panorama of the Vigevano artist's production in a selection of forty pieces: portraits, still lifes, figures, animals and "picto-sculptures". The show was a complete success, with several thousand visitors admiring the artist's work over the extended 5-month exhibit period.
